Golden Exhibition

Satguru’s Art Gallery,Khar,is currently showcasing a collection of works by artists Devangana Chhabria,Nimisha Sharma,Rekha Shivdasani,Veena Chitrakar,Pratik Sharma and Sonam Gupta at an ongoing exhibition. Each of these artists has their own unique style of painting. For example,Chhabria,daughter of acclaimed artist Suchandra Devi,uses a number of colours to paint pictures that portray a sense of tranquility,while Sharma draws her subject matter from nature and sex,and creates modern Indian art that has clear references to India’s traditional past. Holi Dance Marathon

Five international artists are set to perform for the first time in India at the Holi Dance Marathon to be held poolside at InterContinental The Lalit,Mumbai,in association with Urban Distortion,on March 19. The lineup features Antix from New Zealand,Tegma from Sweden,Duca from Serbia,Electrypnose from Switzerland and Sun Control Species from Australia.
