Opposition double-standard is known to people, they will be wiped out: Bhupendra Yadav
In the beginning of the function, BJP MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar recalled how the Emergency enforced by late Indira Gandhi was a black day in the history of Indian democracy.

While describing Bihar as the state from where Jai Prakash Narayan gave the clarion call to protect democracy, Union minister for environment Bhupendra Yadav said the opposition’s attempt to promote dynasty politics and conspire against democracy will not succeed. To the contrary, “those indulging in such tactics will be completely wiped out,” he said.
Bhupendra Yadav was addressing a gathering organised by Mumbai BJP against Emergency.
In the beginning of the function, BJP MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar recalled how the Emergency enforced by late Indira Gandhi was a black day in the history of Indian democracy.
“When Emergency was declared, it was an attempt to promote Nehru-Gandhi dynasty politics. Today, in Patna, when opposition leaders held a meeting, it was another attempt to save their own families and keep their relevance politically,” Yadav asserted.
“Lalu Prasad Yadav, Nitish Kumar and Malayalam Singh Yadav fought against Emergency. But today these leaders have joined hands with Congress to ensure survival of their families in politics,” Yadav said.
“However, the people of Bihar will not get swayed by Opposition’s conspiracy. Bihar is a land which has given birth to revolution. They will dismiss these opposition leaders and defeat their vested interests,” he said.
The minister, who has been touring Maharashtra and interacting with people as part of nine years of Narendra Modi government, said, “I was in Vidarbha. I interacted with different sections of society. There is a strong feeling among people that Shiv Sena (UBT) Uddhav Thackeray has betrayed BJP after the 2019 Assembly elections.”
