Maharashtra: Metro will run extra time, have additional trips today for polls
The first train will depart at 4 am and the last train will leave at 1 am on Thursday, from both BKC and Aarey JVLR stations, as per MMRC

The newly commissioned underground Mumbai Metro Line 3 will run extended hours to facilitate smooth travel for voters and election staff on Wednesday when the state goes to polls, according to the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC).
The first train will depart at 4 am and the last train will leave at 1 am on Thursday, from both BKC and Aarey JVLR stations, as per MMRC. Twenty additional trips have been scheduled during the extended hours.
Services on the elevated Metro Line 2A and 7, which run along the Link Road and Western Express Highway between Dahisar and Andheri, will also be extended. The Maha Mumbai Metro Operations Corporation Ltd (MMMOCL) announced that these extended hours aim to provide seamless connectivity to voters and election personnel.
The first trains on these lines will depart at 4 am from Gundavali, Dahisar East, and Andheri West stations, with the last train leaving at 1 am on Thursday. To accommodate the increased demand, 19 additional trips have been scheduled, raising the number of daily trips from 243 to 262.
