Man arrested for raping 15-year-old girl

The police officers investigating the case said that Bhosle had been observing the 15-year-old girl and knew that she was a huge fan of actor Salman Khan. On Wednesday,when the victim was on her way to the market,Bhosle intercepted her and told her that the actor was going to visit a mall in Goregaon (East) for the promotion of his new film Bodyguard. The man lured the girl by saying that he would introduce her to the actor and get her photograph clicked with the star.

The girl agreed and in the evening Bhosle took her to an under-construction building in Goregaon (East) where he had been working and sexually abused the girl three times after threatening her to remain silent.

“Bhosle then took the girl to Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Borivali (East) and instructed the auto driver to leave her to her locality,” said Rajendra Dabade,Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 12).

The girl then borrowed the mobile phone of the auto driver and called her parents who were frantically looking for her as she had not returned home for over three hours.The girl’s parents then picked her up from the Borivali National Park and approached the Kasturba Marg police.

“We have registered a case of unnatural sex against Bhosle under section 377 of the Indian Penal Code. We have arrested him and will be producing him before the court,” said Dabade.
