It didn’t feature any April Fool pranks,but owner Rahul Akerkar did get a face full of cake,courtesy his spirited daughters,at his restaurant Indigo’s 13th birthday on Sunday. The DeGustibus property,which is also one of Mumbai’s first standalone restaurants,celebrated the occasion with a brunch that had Rahul and Malini Akerkar’s friends and family in attendance. Among the guests were singer Sunita Rao,socialite Laila Lamba,designer Narendra Kumar and model-VJ-actor Ishita Arun. The feast featured brunch specials from the Indigo gourmet menu including Tarter of Salmon with Salmon Roe,Grilled Portobello Mushrooms,waffles,French toast and green tea crème brulee.

For entertainment,Mumbai-based band,The Other People,performed a medley ranging from rock to reggae and contemporary to retro. Guests were seen grooving till 6 pm.
