King Circle flyover may open on May 1

With the construction of the King Circle flyover entering its final stage,Metropolitan Commissioner Rahul Asthana directed his team to complete work by April 30 so that the fyover can be commissioned on May 1.

Around 90 per cent work on the portion is over,said Joint Project Director (PR) Dilip Kawathkar. “Rahul Asthana instructed his team to complete the work by April 30 so that it can be commissioned on Maharashtra Day.”

According to MMRDA officials,there are nine traffic signals between Jijamata Udyan and Suman Nagar,and motorists would be able to bypass these using the flyover which is expected to save 20 minutes.
