Juhu mishap victims remain critical

The three persons who were admitted to the hospital after being badly injured in the Juhu car crash on Saturday morning,continued to remain critical on Monday. Priyanka Rai (20),who was admitted to Criticare Hospital in Vile Parle,is on life support. “Priyanka’s condition is critical. She has sustained multiple injuries. She also suffered brain infarction,which is serious,” said Dr Sandhya Sarfare,Criticare hospital. Nimisha Mane (19) and Krishna Mani Thewar (23) are battling for life in the Intensive Care Units (ICUs) at Nanavati Hospital and Cooper Hospital respectively.

“We are waiting for Nimisha’s condition to stabilise. Only then will we be able to take a call on her surgery,” said a doctor from Nanavati Hospital. The doctor added that her condition hasn’t improved despite continued medication.
