Husband posted private pictures online,actor tells cyber cops

“The complainant is a 19-year-old girl who hails from Uttar Pradesh and is presently living in the city with her parents,who are television artistes. The actor got married to the son of a retired ACP against her parents’ wishes in October 2008. Recently,when she got a break to play the lead female role in a movie,she left her husband’s home alleging that her in-laws were ill treating her and harassing her for money,” said Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria.

According to the police,they have received counter complaints from her husband’s family which are also being looked into.

“We will examine these counter complaints,but the girl also lodged a complaint stating that some private photographs showing her with her husband have been uploaded on a social networking site by a friend. She also alleged that her husband had given the photos to his friend. We have traced the IP (internet protocol) address from which the photos were uploaded to a computer belonging to her husband’s friend. Further investigations are on,” said Maria.
