The services on Central Railways harbour line were suspended from 8.38 pm to 9.06 pm on Thursday, following the detection of a fracture on tracks at the Reay Road station. Commuters informed the railway staff about the fracture, following which engineers rushed to the site and restored it within 30 minutes. Some services were diverted via the main line but the incident caused a minor delay in services on the harbour line. Earlier in the day,a technical error related to the level crossing gate at Diva had held up services on the main line between 10.55 am and 11.25 am,leading to bunching of trains. Services on the line had been running 20-25 minutes late till afternoon.
