Flour mill guard held for molesting minor

The Ghatkopar police arrested a guard of a flour mill Saturday for allegedly molesting a nine-year-old girl in the mill premises.

Police said the complaint was registered by the victim’s 19-year-old sister. The accused,identified as Vijaykumar Sabajit,was on night duty Friday when the alleged incident occurred,they said.

At 10:30 pm Friday,Sabajit saw the victim playing outside her house,located metres away from the mill. Noticing that she was alone,he called the girl inside the mill and closed the door. He then allegedly molested the girl.

“Sabajit had lured the girl by offering her a chocolate,” said police inspector S Ambupe from Ghatkopar police station.
