“The girl told us that she wanted to join the film industry and had come in contact with a person who told her to go to Dubai to perform in shows.”

“The girl said that she realised something was amiss and informed us. Initial investigations revealed that the allegations were true, and we began probing the case,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Enforcement) B G Shekhar. The police then received information that the girls were being sent to Dubai from Delhi.

“We informed the airport authorities and they stopped the girls from boarding the plane. Our team was sent there and the girls have been brought back,” said Shekhar.
