Five college students,who went on a picnic to Arnala beach on Saturday morning,drowned in the sea.

Five college students,who went on a picnic to Arnala beach on Saturday morning,drowned in the sea. While the bodies of four — Shweta,Deepika,Swati and Ashwin — were found,search is on for the fifth student Dorai. “The deceased were all residents of Antop Hill area and were students of Kirti,SNDT and Guru Nanak colleges. Arnala is infamous for the illegal dredging activity causing sand depressions. The students may have not known the danger while entering into the water. The sand and water current may have sucked them in,” said a police officer.
