Fire in Borivali mall

A minor fire broke out in the basement of the Indraprastha shopping centre in Borivali west on Tuesday following a short circuit in the central AC unit. While the AC plant room was gutted,no other loss of property was reported. An official said the fire was extinguished within an hour. “The central AC unit was old and faulty. The room was stuffed with scrap material,which also caught fire,” he added.
