Bollywood personalities have been steadily making their presence felt on international platforms. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap,a man who has had several run-ins with international fame,has now been invited as a special guest to represent Bollywood at the prestigious Jameson Empire Awards in London on March 23. Entering its 17th year,the Jameson Empire Awards is a popular film awards in the UK that has the film fans deciding the winners through votes.

Kashyap will also be judging the five Indian entries for Jameson Empire “Done in 60 Seconds”,a global digital competition which encourages film enthusiasts to produce their own 60 second version of an iconic film. To celebrate this honour,he will host the first ever Jameson Cult Film Club party in Mumbai on February 2,when the names of the Indian winners will be announced.

“Short films have a great future. I’m really excited about judging these entries. We have great talent in India and I am hoping to see a wide variety of short films,” says Kashyap. The competition will see five ‘Done in 60 Seconds’ nominees attending the star-studded Jameson Empire Awards in London and the winner accepting a Jameson Empire Award on stage. This year,it has participation from over 20 countries,including India.
