The Economic Offences Wing (EoW) of the Mumbai police has filed a chargesheet in the sessions court, naming developer Chandru Raheja and his sons Neel and Ravi for allegedly cheating a Nusli Wadia-run estate of Rs 6.8 crore.

A complaint was lodged by Wadia in 2008,after the Rahejas constructed a mall in Malad (West) on a plot measuring 1.70 lakh sq feet which the estate had handed over to them in 1995 for development.

As per the development agreement,Chandru Raheja’s company Ivory Properties and Hotels was to construct a building — Ivory Towers — and hand over 12 per cent of the sales proceeds to Wadia, the administrator of the Estate and Effects of the late Eduljee F Dinshaw.
