With no recent box-office hits,her directorial debut Rani Laxmibai being shelved and a broken romance,Sushmita Sen had a bad couple of years. But it looks like the beauty queen is back on track. She was recently granted the rights for the Miss Universe franchise in India,lost all the extra kilos and adopted another baby girl. After a couple of bad years,its my time once again. Its like the universe has conspired to make everything good finally move in my direction now, says the radiant actress.

Sen recently unveiled I AM,her own brand,that will be part of many different projects,the first and closest to her heart being a beauty pageant. It will be a beauty pageant which will select the girl that will represent India in the global Miss Universe pageant. Its been 14 years since I passed on my crown but I never lost my connection to it. I AM is something that Ive been thinking about for years,the pieces just got put together recently, she says and shows us a tattoo on her left wrist,the logo of I AM.

Sen wants to change the misconception that beauty pageants are only for bimbettes. I want I AMs Miss India Universe to be well educated,extremely intelligent and socially aware. That is also the reason that we have joined hands with five NGOs and will make sure that our winner will not just walk ramps but will have a social responsibility too. Social messages can normally be extremely boring for the public to watch and we have to admit that glamour does help publicise the cause. So I want to take full advantage of this edge that we have.

Along with her career finally going her way,Sen also recently got another blessing. After trying for 10 years,she was finally allowed to adopt another baby girl,Alisah. Her complexion is just like my mothers, she says with a smile. Shes three months old and is a really happy baby. She was the first baby I met and I didnt look any further. It was love at first sight.

In fact,she now wants to adopt more children. I have the capacity to care for many more children so I dont see so why I should stop here. Dont be surprised if you hear that Im getting many more babies, grins the 34-year-old. So with her career gaining track and her growing family,does she feel complete? Nearly,but Im still looking for a husband, she laughs.
