The prosecution in the Nayana Pujari gangrape and murder case recorded the testimony of the investigating officer, police sub inspector Chimaji Madhe. Madhe is among the prime witnesses.

In his responses to the questions, Madhe narrated the incidents that happened in 2009 when the victim’s husband approached him for the first time and later as the probe progressed.
