Constable injured in road accident

A constable from the Versova police station suffered minor injuries after he fell off his motorcycle on Monday night. The police said the incident took place on J P Road in the Seven Bungalows area. Rakesh Panday (44) was returning home when a Wagon R came in front of his motorcycle. To avert a collision,the constable applied brakes suddenly due to which the motorcycle skidded. Panday sustained injuries on his shoulder and knees,the police said.
