Hack attack: Cops await CCTV footage from Greece

Colaba police said Tuesday they suspect the duo who withdrew money in Greece was the same that installed the skimming device in an Axis Bank ATM,which led to Rs 15 lakh being siphoned off from 37 bank accounts. Police said investigators have not made any progress as they are waiting for CCTV footage from Greece.

Probe on into scuffle in Vikhroli

Police have initiated investigations into a scuffle between two groups in Vikhroli Tuesday. Parksite police said the staff quarters of a company on LBS Road was being demolished by a private contractor for remodelling following a takeover. “Although the owners have been trying to get people to vacate the premises,some are still residing there. When the contractor tried to demolish the building,the employees tried to intervene; this led to a struggle,” said inspector Suresh Sakpal.

Sex determination row: Notice to activist

BMC is probing allegations that actor Shah Rukh Khan conducted sex-determination test on his reported surrogate baby. Activist Varsha Deshpande,whom Jaslok Hospital has served a notice to,is expected to meet additional municipal commissioner Manisha Mhaiskar.
