SUNANDA
It feels great to have won the competition. Cheerleading is a new concept in India. It should be respected and appreciated so that girls who are interested will come forward. I’m excited about meeting all the cricketers,especially Irfan Pathan. He is really cute.

ANANYA
I belong to Kolkata and I love Shah Rukh Khan. So when he asked in the ad,‘Do you want to be my angel?’,
I decided to participate in the show. I know that viewers felt I was Saurav Ganguly’s favourite but it’s just that we have a Bengali bond.
My favourite cricketer is Ricky Ponting.

SAMYUKTA
I’m happy that I am doing something for Kolkata Knight Riders. In fact,I can’t wait to start cheering. I consider myself lucky to be chosen as part of India’s first official cheerleading team. SRK was supportive to all contestants and is a nice person at heart. Sourav’s comments were inspiring and also gave a sense of his professionalism. My favourite cricketers are Saurav Ganguly and Ishant Sharma.

SANA
I am from Nagpur and when I saw SRK’s ad,I decided to take part. It’s a new sport. When we sit at home and watch cricket,we cheer our team. Now,I will be cheering them on ground. It’s a respected profession in America and I hope it becomes one in India too.

RUPALI
Cheerleading is a form of sport and I think it should be encouraged as a career option in India. It is exciting to cheer people. I will be doing it for the first time. Earlier I was part of the opening ceremony with Shiamak Davar’s troupe in ICL.
