Sharada Sunder might be a debut poet but judging by the celebrity presence at the launch of her book of poems The Illegitimate Tree and Other Poems at Jade Gardens,Nehru Centre,one might not think so. Chetan Bhagat who launched the collection was one of the first to walk in followed by Aruna Irani,Sharman Joshi,Randeep Hooda and Milind Soman. While Dolly Thakore read aloud some poems,it was left to Bhagat to raise the tempo of the evening which he promptly did with his ready wit asking Sunder whether she argued with her husband in prose or poetry and how to juggle the “crazy combination” of being a poet and a chartered accountant.
