Bombay High Court ordered one group to clean and sweep the Mira Road railway station every Sunday for the next three months.
The Bombay High Court on Tuesday asked 20 youths to do community services for three months while quashing FIRs against them.The youth who belong to two different groups have been accused of assaulting each other.
A division bench of Justices R V More and V L Achiliya directed one group to clean and sweep the Mira Road railway station every Sunday for the next three months. The second group has been asked to clean a municipal school in Thane every Sunday also for the same period.

The station master of Mira Road station and the principal of the school in Thane will monitor and supervise them and inform the police.
The youth had gone to a resort in Gorai in April last year separately where they got into a fight and assaulted each other. Both groups filed First Information Reports and counter FIRs with the Gorai police station at the time. All the accused, who are in early twenties, approached the HC seeking to quash the case stating that they have settled the dispute amongst themselves.
This is the second instance where the same bench of the high court has imposed the condition of community service for quashing an FIR.
In January, the bench had directed four men, accused of outraging the modesty of a woman, to sweep some streets and public spots in the Thane on every Sunday for six months.
