Ajmeri Shaikh (30),who was arrested on March 7 for allegedly raping and murdering two minors,underwent narcoanalysis test Tuesday following a court order. The test went on for over two hours at Nagpada Police Hospital. As per the court order,I was allowed to be present on the premise,but was not allowed to enter the room where the test was being conducted, said Shaikhs lawyer Prakash Wagh. A brain-mapping test conducted by Kalina forensic science laboratory on Shaikh had hinted that Ajmeri was not directly involved in the crime. A five-year-old from Vatsala Tai Nagar and an eight-year-old from Shramik Nagar,Kurla (E),were allegedly raped and murdered by Shaikh on February 7 and March 6 respectively.
