Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim, who is staying at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai as part of his five-day visit to India, said the 26/11 attack was a condemnable act.

The Taj hotel was one of the several locations attacked by terrorists from Pakistan during a three-day siege, which killed 165 people, including foreign nationals.

He said what happened was “very bad” and should not be “repeated”. It was a “condemnable act”,he added.

During an interaction, members of the Pakistan delegation told the Governor that there is a strong opinion in Pakistan that India should be given the most-favoured nation status.

Fahim expressed confidence that his visit will be a “stepping stone for future relations between Pakistan and India”.
