Two-day UIET Techno fest Aavishkar ’12 concludes

The second and concluding day of the techno-management fest,Aavishkar12,organised by Panjab University’s University Institute of Engineering Technology (UIET),witnessed various events,such as ‘Circuit King’ and ‘Mind Boggle-The Quiz’,‘Robowars’ and ‘Mud Rally’ as well as a robo-fight that kept participants entertained while also challenging them .

An event,‘Submerged’,tested the underwater skills of the students’ inventions,while ‘Apti-Mania’ and ‘Electronika’ put to test the business-related and technical knowledge of the students.

The LAN gaming event,on the other hand,went on for the entire day.

At the culmination of the event,Prof. K N Pathak,Ex-Vice Chancellor of Panjab University,felicitated all the winners of the events held over the two days.

University Institute of Engineering Technology Director Prof Renu Vig congratulated the participants for showcasing the ideas,inventions and skills by some of the best minds in the field of engineering.
