Theft at three shops in Ludhiana

Burglars targeted three shops in Trunk wala bazar in old city area on Saturday morning.

The burglars allegedly broke open the locks of Rishabh Jewelers, Jindal Hosiery and Shanti Embroidery and decamped with cash and valuables.

Kamal Aggarwal of Jindal Hosiery said Rs 13,000 was stolen from his shop. They also stole Rs 3,000 from Shanti Embroidery.

When the accused were breaking open the locks of Rishabh Jewelers, the watchman of the area noticed them and raised an alarm.
