Proclaimed offender arrested after 13 years

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE LUDHIANA,AUGUST 25 MOHAN Singh,a resident of Moti Nagar,was arrested on Sunday after 13 years of a court declaring him a proclaimed offender. He was arrested by Focal Point police. He was working in an industrial unit in the city. A case was registered against him in 1996 under the Arms Act at Focal Point police station. Assistant Sub-Inspector Jaswinder Singh said he was booked after a country-made pistol was recovered from the accused in 1996. Later,he was released on bail but he never appeared before the court. The court had declared him a proclaimed offender. On Sunday,police arrested him from Kailash Nagar. On Monday,he will be produced before the court
