NGO prods children to donate books

In a span of one month,the book bank has received four sets of old books from students.

Vikas Bansal,another trustee,said,“Presently the schools are closed due to summer vacations. To mobilise more and more students for this cause,we will woo the city schools through their heads once the vacations are over. The principals throught their announcements in the morning assemblie will prod the the children to donate the old books to the book bank created by us.” He further said that simultaneously,the trustees of the NGO will also visit government schools to know the number of needy students. “And as soon as we will get some sets of old books from students,we will distribute them to the needy students of government schools or private schools,” said Kapil Gupta.

It needs to be mentioned here that this NGO also distributes Shri Mad Bhagvad Gita to the patients in hospitals. By now,about 560 copies of Shri Mad Bhagvad Geeta have been distributed to people at Raghunath Hospital,Dayanand Medical College and Hospital,an Old Age Home of Nishkam Sewa Ashram.
