‘J Block rail crossing gate to be opened’

Following protests by residents regarding the opening of the J Block railway crossing gate,the railway authorities agreed in writing to open this gate within this week. Giving this information,Gurinderpal Singh Pappu,trustee of the Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) said,“One officer from Ferozepur railways came on Monday night to lift the dharna and gave this assurance in writing. Now we are hopeful that the gate will be opened soon.”
