New civil surgeon assumes charge
Dr Satwant Kaur has joined as the new civil surgeon of Ludhiana. She was earlier a civil surgeon in Fatehgarh Sahib. On assuming charge,she said she would focus more various government schemes available so that their benefit can be passed on to the masses. The work culture also need to be improved so that employees can give better results to the masses,she said.
Eldeco Estate on National Highway-1
Eldeco Estate is the new project which is coming up on the Ludhiana-Jalandhar GT Road at a cost of Rs 450 crore. The project,which will be ready by 2011,will offer independent villas starting from Rs 65 lakhs to Rs 85 lakh.
Bhatia is PNB field general manager
S S Bhatia assumed the charge of Punjab National Bank (PNB) for Punjab and J&K as field general manager. The office has recently been created to boost the banks business as to give administrative guidance and leadership to employees. In another change,Joginder Bajaj,Deputy General Manager has taken over as circle head of Ludhiana.
Workshop for MC drivers held
Satguru Partap Singh Apollo Hospitals conducted a Basic Life Support Training Course for the 70 drivers of Municipal Corporation,Ludhiana. The training was imparted by Dr Harpreet Thind,Incharge Emergency Department and Ambulance Services and Dr Kamalpreet Sodhi. The workshop included in-depth management of accident and trauma patients.
