Annual Day celebrations held
Bal Bharti School held the annual day celebration at Gur Nanak Dev Bhawan. AR Talwar,principal,Secretary Home Affairs,and Justice to the Government of Punjab was the chief guest. The students presented a cultural programme. While the chief guest gave away prizes to around 100 students,Punam Dogra,the school principal,highlighted achievements of the school in different fields.

IOLCP gets energy conservation award
IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IOLCP),one of the producers of APIs,Ibuprofen and specialty chemicals in India,has been awarded the second prize state-level energy conservation award under the category of energy intensive industries organized by Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA). IOLCP won this award for its on-going efforts made in the field of energy conservation. Damandeep Singh,President,IOLCP received this award from Dr Farooq Abdullah,Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy,Government of India,last week at Chandigarh.

Osim India unveils programme
Osim India has unveiled its plans for Punjab. In year 2010,the company will be opening new branches in Amritsar and Jalandhar and later will be targetting Patiala as well,said Shelly grover,MD of the company. He said that in Punjab their growth was up to the mark.
