Gangster’s accomplice arrested

The police added that one of the gangster’s accomplices,Lakhwinder Singh alias Jassi from Pritam Nagar,had too been caught.

Lalla created many problems for Ludhiana police in the past and has at least eight criminal cases against him. It was only around 10 days ago when the police caught hold of him.

At present,he is lodged in Central Jail of Ludhiana. He is an undertrial in a case of attempt to murder.

After recovery of the pistol,the police division number 4 added the cases under sections 25,54,59 of the Arms Act against him.

Ten days ago,Daresi police caught hold of him in a case related to attempt to murder.

ACP (North) J Elanchezhian said,“Chhota Lalla was wanted in various cases of thrashing,trespassing,firing and issuing threats registered on July 12,2012,and other case of opening fire in the air.”

He added that he was declared a proclaimed offender by the court in all the above-mentioned cases.
