Free medical camp held

The Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Young Indians (Yi) chapter organised a free medical and surgical check-up camp at Nagesh Knitwears Pvt Ltd,Ludhiana,for the company’s employees and their families. About 400 people,including children,were examined on the occasion,according to Yi Chair (Vertical Healthcare) Varun Mehra.

Consultant Surgeon and Yi Co-Chair (Health Vertical) Dr Ashish Ahuja and Endocrinologist Dr Manikant Singla,both from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital,examined the patients. The camp focused special consultation to diabetics and made visitors aware of healthy eating habit. Free medicines were distributed.
