Critically sick child’s parents seek help

Parents of Daniel,a two-and-a-half year old child,who was recently found to have a life threatening cancer called Neuroblastoma,have appealed the philanthropists in the city to help them out in this hour of crisis. Daniel has been under treatment since January 4 in the Department of Paediatric Surgery,Christian Medical College and Hospital.

According to a hospital release,“After detailed investigations,it was found that Daniel has been suffering from Neuroblastoma Stage-III (Advanced disease). This has left the family in shambles. As the cancer is in advanced stage,the child will need chemotherapy. At present,he is admitted and receiving treatment in CMC&H,Ludhiana

Daniel’s father is a daily wage labourer who is finding it difficult to fend for the finances involved in his treatment.

Now,hospitalised for more than two weeks,the boy is in urgent need of chemotherapy followed by a surgery that could save his life. The parents of this critically sick child have let out an agonizing cry for help for saving their son’s life.
