Canadian MP tells Punjabis to take legal route for immigration The Ludhiana District Congress Committee president Pawan Dewan on Wednesday said that Punjabis interested in immigration to Canada must always adopt the legal route. Dewan,who returned from two weeks in US and Canada,said that he was told by the Conservative MP from Don Valley East (Ontario),Jeo Daniel that the legal route is the best and safe. He pointed out that once people land there after completing all the procedural formalities,it becomes easy for them to settle down there and find work.As per the records,MC has allotted 220 unipoles,38 overhead signages,4 foot over bridges,6 roundabouts,9 kiosks on roads

MC’s e-Suwidha: HDFC Bank to manage transactions Almost two months after the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation launched an online portal,e-Suwidha,for the convenience of the residents and announced that residents will be able to pay their water and sewerage bills online,finally HDFC Bank has been given the work to manage all the transactions on the portal. HDFC Bank,which is currently working on ‘integrating’ the systems between e-Suwidha and its monetary gateways,is expected to start the transactions on http://www.esuwidha.org http://www.esuwidha.org/ in a month.
