The city bus service is set to begin from next month.

Bus service from Feb

Ludhiana: The city bus service is set to begin from next month. One demo bus reached Ludhiana on Tuesday,in which,councillors,along with the Mayor and commissioner,took a ride. As many as 40 low-floor AC buses are likely to start operating from next month.

Trauma centre

Ludhiana: State Minister of Family Welfare and Health Laxmi Kanta Chawal laid the foundation of the trauma centre of Civil Hospital Khanna on Tuesday. The project will cost 4.50 crore,out of which,Rs 1.12 crore will be spent on its two-storey building. The remaining amount will be spent on equipment.
