The Centre for Indian Trade Unions (CITU) on Thursday organised a dharna outside mini-secretariat in support of their demands.

Addressing the gathering, former MLA Trasem Jodhan said that the Punjab government had sought two days’ time from the protesters. This was conveyed to them by Deputy Commissioner Rajat Aggarwal.

Jodhan said if their demands were not met in this time, they would organise a “jail bharo andolan” on 23rd of this month.
