CIPHET scientist bags Mother Teresa Award
Dr D M Kadam,senior scientist at the Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET),has won this years Mother Teresa Sadhavana Award for outstanding individual achievements and distinguished services to the nation from the Global Achievers Foundation. He was awarded during a recently concluded function held at New Delhi.
Casee lodged against 15 dairy farmers
The Ludhiana MC on Thursday got a case registered against 15 people from Moti Nagar area for connecting sewerage illegally to their dairies. The case has been registered at police station Focal point for running dairies in residential areas and getting illegal sewerage connections. It has been lodged under sections 269,278,290,427 and 432 of the IPC as the pipelines of area were getting blocked.
