As many as 40 cases of gastroenteritis have been reported in different hospitals of the city by now. According to sources,“On Friday,ten new cases were reported from the city periphery.”

Health camp organised
Ryan International school organized a health check up camp with the help of doctors,volunteer students and teachers. All volunteers visited village Neechi Mangali,where the villagers were made aware of diseases especially prevalent during rainy season and at the same time were also informed about benefits of overall hygiene. Gurpreet kaur Sandhu,the school Principal appreciated the efforts.

Free medical camp on Sunday
Senior Citizen’s Welfare Association Ludhiana is going to hold free medical check up camp on July 18 at Civil Dispensary of village Sunet in collaboration with Medicity hospital. S P Karkara,President of the association said free medicines will be given to the needy patients.

Toyata does preview of new car in Ludhiana
Toyata Kirloskar Motors did the preview of Toyata Etios in Ludhiana on Friday. Company officials said the vehicle will be launched in the coming months,and as of now,they are waiting for the public response. Toyata has launched this car for the Indian market for the first time and the company claimed it to be an environment-friendly car. The price is yet to be determined,said Sumesh Chadha,dealer,Principal Radiant Toyata. Apart from Etios,other models of Toyata were also displayed at sterling resorts.

Carl F Bucherer watches in Ludhiana
Ethos,the exclusive retailer of Carl F Bucherer (CFB) in India,has displayed a range of watches from the house at Firoz Gandhi Market. On display for the people of Ludhiana are time pieces ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 75 lakh. The selection has been brought to Ludhiana for the first time and the pieces will be made as per orders,said Sandeep Dutta,regional manager,Ethos. The watches will be in the studio for nearly a week.
