55-year-old dies

Pushpa Rani,55,on Wednesday died after a concrete mixer fell on her from the roof of the next house. Pushpa was working as a domestic help in the house of one Harbash Singh and she was cleaning the floor in the verandah when all of a sudden the concrete mixer fell from the adjacent house’s roof. The next house was under construction and the mixer was lying towards the side of Harbans Singh’s verandah. However,police took action as per Section 175,treating it as accidental death after the contractor and the owner of the under construction house pleaded innocence.
