2 held for attempt to loot SBI ATM

Basti Jodhewal police on Sunday arrested two persons for trying to break and loot an ATM of State Bank of India situated on Noorwala road. The accused have been identified as Amit Kumar and Shankar. Both the accused are aged between 20 and 22. SHO Balwinder Singh said,“The complaint was registered by SBI manager Lakhwinder Singh when they noticed tampering with ATM machines. However,no cash was stolen.” Police booked the accused under sections 457 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.
