Two people lost their lives in two separate road mishaps on Friday. A case of death due to negligence was registered against an unidentified driver of a mini truck with the Sadar police.
Baldev Singh of Sukhdev Nagar,in his complaint,said that he was crossing from Village Gill on a tractor with Sonu. An over speeding mini truck hit the tractor from behind. The impact of the collision was so great that Sonu fell on the road and died on the spot.
In a separate incident,a case was registered against unidentified driver of unidentified vehicle with the Koomkalan Police on Friday. In his complaint,Balvir Singh,resident of Village Sherpur Basti of Machhiwara said he was going towards Kohara on his motorcycle. When he reached near Maangarh he saw his brother-in-law Simar Singh lying dead on road. Balvir Singh said some unidentified vehicle hit him.
