And we thought youth was time to focus on career and secure a sound future. “People are flirting everywhere,all the time…we are only handing out tips on how to do it in a responsible manner,” says not so successful actor Ashmit Patel,known more for his scandals of the Bigg Boss-Veena Malik-sleazy MMS kind,about Supertstud: School of Flirt,the new show on UTV Bindaas,which goes on air from July first week.

The show has 13 young men who are given tasks such as getting the phone numbers of as many pretty young things as they can in the minimum time at nightclubs,gyms,parties,etc where spycams are capturing their act. In the course of the show,Patel guides them on how they should have done what. They have to take things from breaking the ice to procuring contact details to finally dating their targets. The guy who finishes with the maximum number of trophies will be crowned ‘superstud of India’.

“There is nothing immoral about being interested in someone and approaching her. We are only grooming the guys to do it decently and responsibly,” says Patel.

“All right,I won’t deny my stints with a number of girls,but I don’t regret having done anything irresponsible,” denying categorically every bizarre thing he has been in the news for,including the MMS featuring him and a film actress that did the rounds. “That was doctored. I feel sorry for the damage it did to the girl,” he states with a straight face.

Time to change the topic.

“I have recently finished English film Florida Road,set in Durban. I am almost through with shooting The Flag,a Hindi film about revolution in a village in 1942. And I play a sleuth in Bengali film Laal Salaam. There are some more projects coming my way,so my hands are full,” he says.
