For all those who were hoping for a clash of titans (read Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan) on December 24,2011,will just have to make do with Shah Rukhs Don 2. Aamirs film with Reema Kagti a cop drama produced by Excel Entertainment will not release on the same day,as publicised earlier. When Farhan Akhtar announced Excel Entertainments scheduled releases for this year,Kagtis film did not find a mention at all. With Don 2 coming from the same stable,it is only wise on Farhans part to postpone the release of the Aamir-starrer to early next year. After all,there can be only one King (Khan).

Sholay in 3D

The 3D revolution seems to have impressed two prominent yesteryear filmmakers Subhash Ghai and Ketan Mehta. Ghais Mukta Arts and Mehtas Maya Digital have joined hands to re-create one of the biggest blockbusters of Hindi cinema Sholay in 3D. Although the details of the 3D version are yet to be finalised,a test show for the producers was conducted by Ghai recently and they were happy with the results. Lets hope Sholay in 3D helps Ghai and Mehta regain their lost glory.
