Two persons allegedly committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance in a field in Samda village late Saturday night.

Two persons allegedly committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance in a field in Samda village late Saturday night.

The incident came to light when a passerby spotted their bodies and informed the police. The deceased were Gokul (33),a daily wager and a 15-year-old girl. Both were taken to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead on arrival. According to the police,Gokul,a resident of nearby Mauda village,and the girl were having an affair. While Gokul was married with five children,the girl was a Class VII student.

The girl came in contact with Gokul some time ago when he did some construction work at her house.
