Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav Friday termed BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as a good salesperson who is distorting history and geography of the country with political motives.
He is good at sales and marketing tactics. Had he been granted US visa,he would have claimed that Taj Mahal was built by him. People understand who is relying on false propaganda and who is engaged in development, Akhilesh said without naming Modi.
people who are distorting history and geography are trapped in their tall claims. He is good only in marketing as his state (Gujarat) has given only businessmen. Prime Ministers are usually given by Uttar Pradesh,Akhilesh added while addressing the media after launching a Radio Taxi service and facility at his official residence Friday.
Akhilesh also claimed that Modi is only a TV creation.
Jo TV sey bante hain, unhein TV hi khatam kar deti hai (Those who are createdby TV are also written off by TV), he said.
When the battle will reach on the ground,SP will win hands down. Now,every political party is including free laptop scheme in their manifesto. Akhilesh candidly admitted that projects under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in his government have failed to click due to lack of sweeteners.
We tried to develop bus stands on PPP model,no one showed interest as the previous government had doled out sweeteners in such projects.
The CMs secretariat during then was engaged in such practice and we all know where the sweeteners reached, he said.
He said he asked officials to offer little sweeteners in the PPP model projects. The financial condition is really bad. Banks will not give us loans,he said.
Later,Akhilesh,in the presence of SP president Mulayam Singh Yadav, also laid the foundation stone of a cancer hospital in Chak Ganjaria farm. He also laid the foundation of a Shilp Gram for artisans which will come up on a land of housing board.
Mulayam,on the occasion, asked Akhilesh to ensure completion of cancer hospital at the earliest and bring in cancer experts from the country and abroad.
Chief Secretary Jawed Usmani said that the 500-bed cancer hospital will have the capacity to treat 10,000 patients every year. It will provide preventive and palliative care for cancer from early to final stage.
