Three teens held for creating obscene profile

Three youths,belonging to affluent families,were arrested in Muzaffarnagar on Thursday night for allegedly creating a fake Orkut profile of a batchmate containing her nude pictures.

Another accused is reported to be absconding. The Muzaffarnagar Senior Superintendent of Police,Vijay Prakash,said the victims Bangalore-based brother lodged a complaint with the Cyber Cell of Mumbai police after he saw his sisters morphed nude pictures on Orkut last month.

The Mumbai police tracked down the cyber café in Meerut where the profile was created. The accused were later identified and the Mumbai police transferred the investigation to their Muzaffarnagar counterparts.

A case was registered at the Meerapur police station on Thursday. Muzaffarnagar SP (City) Rajiv Malhotra said all of them had finished their Class XII from the same college in Meerut in the last session and used to go to the college in the same bus from Muzaffarnagar.

The boys had clicked the photographs of the girl with .their cellphone during a party,Malhotra said.
