Three cops accused of murder

On Friday morning,Sub-Inspector Yashpal Singh arrested Mahadev with a countrymade pistol and sent him to jail.

The jail authorities on Saturday morning sent Mahadev to a hospital when he complained of severe stomach pain. But he was declared dead on arrival.

Mahadev’s son,Suraj Singh,filed an FIR that his father died after he was severely beaten by the locals and police. He also accused Yashpal Singh and two unidentified constables for reportedly framing his father in a false case.

Suraj also said six locals beat up his father and then handed him over to police who also thrashed him. 

The accused are Vinay,Guddu,Gajendra and Mukesh–all residents of Barhanal area, Yashpal Singh and two unidentified constables. Yashpal Singh has been sent to the Police Lines.
