The Surya Ordnance Golf Tournament will commence on October 31 at the eco-friendly Mauribagh Environmental Park & Training Area (MEPTA),Lucknow Cantonment,Lucknow.

As per the organisers,more than 150 golfers including eminent golf players,defence officers,bureaucrats and professionals from various fields are likely to participate in this 18 hole golf tourney.

The tournament will culminate on November 1. Sahara India Pariwar,Taj Residency,Lucknow,UB United Spirits and Tilaknagar Industries Ltd. are co-sponsoring the tournament. Prizes have been nominated for the winners in different categories including ladies putting.

AN 80-run knock by Sanjeev Gupta and a five wicket haul by Navin Agnihotri (5 for 34) were the highlights of the match as Armaan Cricket Academy defeated Mehta Cricket Club by 24 runs in their knock-out stage match of the Shivesh Majumdar Memorial Cricket Tournament at Pt. RB Tiwari Stadium,Lucknow on Tuesday.
