Suicide or murder? Cops in the dark

Two days after Shashank Yadav,28,who worked for EIL,was found dead in a Noida stadium restroom,police have not concluded whether he killed himself or was murdered.

Senior police officers said there were many inconsistencies to rule out either.

This is a complicated case. The problem with suicide theory is why he was carrying a bag of documents relating to the EIL probe if his intent was to kill himself, a senior officer said. The murder theory too has holes. His family alleged he was being threatened by officials of the company. Why then would he leave the house in the dead of night,especially on a day he was meant to give a written statement to the CBI,as the family alleges?
